Refreshing Cucumber Drink

This sounds like the perfect summer drink.  I spotted it over at How Does She? and it sounds simple to make
only using a cumcumber or two, a bag of ice, 1 can of limeade an a 2 liter bottle of a 7Up or similar drink.

I have seen these as the mall, but there was no way I was going to pay mall prices for drink so I have never tried this before but this recipe posted by The Idea Room that her son learned in Home Ec that sounds fairly simple.

It uses a 6oz frozen juice concentrate, 1 cup each of water and milk, 1/4 each of granulated and powered sugar, 1st of vanilla extract and 8 ice cubes.
