Girl's Dress From A T-Shirt

Since I have started sewing dresses for Dress A Girl Around The World, a charity where sewn dresses (or pants for boys) are donated to give to children that do not have any around the world, I have been on the lookout for garments that are simple to sew, short sleeved or sleeveless, and that I can use items in my existing stash to make and this simple dress from a t-shirt  by Blooms and Bugs fits the bill.

Cheese & Herb Pull-Apart Bread

I love bread in all forms and this Cheese and Herb Pull-Apart Bread sounds delicious.  While the bread dough itself sound fairly standards, what makes is sound delectable is the filling of garlic, herbs, cheese, butter with salt and pepper and the stacking and cutting of the strips to make it pull-apart.

For the recipe, visit Pink Parsley

As we have had record high temps, going to put this on the to try list for either Fall or winter.

Jewled Bobby Pins

I spotted this over at A Girl In Paradise and glad to see that I am not the only one thinking of Christmas in July.   These jeweled bobby pins would be faily simple and inexpensive to make and give as presents or decorate hair for a special occassion.   For the tutorial, click here.

Diaper Bassinet

The next time I am invited to a baby shower I plan on making this cute diaper bassinet made out of 12 diapers, cardboard for a cereal box, receiving blanket and wash or burp cloth and put together with some rubber bands and tape.

The tutorial for this is posted at Cute As Fox.
