UPCYCLED ONESIE TO BABY BASEBALL CAP

Photo:   Me Sew Crazy

Me Sew Crazy has a tutorial and free printable pattern to make the above out of newborn onesies for babies 0-6 months here.

I don't have any need to make these at this time, but perhaps for a future project and to share with any new moms that might have bigger babies like I did (8lbs 8 oz) and never fit into newborn clothing and grew out of 3 month clothing at 3 weeks.

Peekadot: Inspired Scrappy Bracelet

When I saw the above over at Peekadot I knew I had to add it to my to do list not only because I like the way it looks, but it is also a way to use up old fabric scraps that I have been hanging on to.  For the tutorial visit here.

DIY JEWELRY DISPLAY FROM PAPER TOWEL TUBES.

This fabulous idea is from Blah to Tada! and is unbelievably made from empty paper towel tubes you then cover in felt. What a great way to upcycle paper towel tube into something useful!

Starship Enterprise ***ACCOMPLISHED FD ONE***

There is one at Instructables that uses 3 med. binder clips and 1 large one, 3 CD's and 2 pens and a Sharpie pens and put together with a hot glue gun that I still want to try to make sometime.

But I also found this site that shows how to make one out of parts from an old 3 1/2 floppy. You basically take the disc apart and use the center as the bridge and the metal clasp as the rest of it.

I made this one out of a floppy disc and posted how I made it here:

GLASS JAR PHOTO FRAMES - ACCOMPLISHED

The above clever idea is from photojojo. Simple, yet functional and a great way to upcycle oldI am not sure when or what project, but I definitely want to incorporate this idea into a project sometime.
